FTT’s vision is to become a leading innovator, developer and provider of technologies that will set higher standards in portable refueling and other liquid transfer industries and have a positive impact on the environment while providing the safest and most convenient options to consumers.
It is the Mission of FTT to foster a strategic innovation corporate culture, be committed to the highest code of conduct, integrity, transparency and ethical business practices, provide a dynamic and challenging environment for its employees, generate growth responsibly, build value for its shareholders, and develop innovative liquid transfer technologies that meet or exceed safety and environmental standards and encourage businesses and consumers to change the way they transfer hazardous liquids, for a safer, cleaner and healthier environment, and for an improved quality of life, globally.
As a start-up company incorporated in the province of New Brunswick on October 8, 2005, FTT understood the widespread consumer dissatisfaction associated with existing portable refueling products (i.e. traditional gas or jerry cans) and the extent of the safety and environmental consequences of transferring gasoline using traditional methods. The three founders, James Wedderburn, Aline Roy-Wedderburn, and Mark Bonner, envisioned a completely new and innovative system designed to control spillage, evaporation and permeation from portable fuel containers (PFCs) and portable refueling systems (PRSs).
An eye to the future
With the Company’s achievements to date, its impressive portfolio of patented and patent pending technologies, its ability to develop, manufacture and commercialize these innovative technologies, and with the potential to build upon its intellectual property to develop new products addressing multiple safety and environmental issues in various industries, FTT is very enthusiastic about the future.
